Mid Florida Mediation Group LLC (“Mid Florida Mediation Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates midfloridamediation.com. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. We have written it to describe what this website actually does. If anything here is unclear, please ask us.
Who We Are
Mid Florida Mediation Group LLC is a Florida limited liability company providing mediation and arbitration services throughout Florida. We conduct mediations virtually and at locations arranged for each case. We do not operate a public office, so the address below is a mailing address only.
Mailing address: PO Box 195624, Winter Springs, FL 32719
Email: info@midfloridamediation.com
Phone: 386-271-2889
Website: https://midfloridamediation.com
Information You Give Us
When you use our contact form, we collect your name, phone number, email address, and the message you write. All four are required.
When you schedule a mediation through our booking system, we collect your name, email address, phone number, the service and time you select, and the mediator you choose. The booking form also asks for information about the matter itself, including the case number, case style, county, the names and email addresses of counsel for both parties, and an assistant’s email address where applicable.
Please do not send confidential or sensitive details of your dispute through this website. The contact and booking forms are intended for scheduling and initial inquiries. Anything that needs to stay confidential should wait until the mediation itself, or until we have given you a secure way to send it.
Information Collected Automatically
When you submit a form, our website also records your IP address, your browser’s user-agent string, and the page you came from. This is stored with your submission and helps us identify spam and abuse.
When you browse the site, we and our analytics providers collect standard usage information: the pages you view, how long you stay, the device and browser you use, your approximate location derived from your IP address, and how you arrived at the site.
For security, our security software logs IP addresses, failed login attempts, and administrative actions so we can detect and block attacks on the website.
Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising
This website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are necessary for the site to work. Others support the services below.
Google Analytics measures how visitors find and use the site. It sets cookies and processes usage information on our behalf. Event-level analytics data is retained for two months, after which it is kept only in aggregate form.
Google Tag Manager manages the measurement tags on this site. It does not collect information on its own.
Google Ads conversion tracking and remarketing. We advertise on Google. Google Ads sets cookies that let us measure whether an ad led to a contact or a booking, and that may allow our ads to be shown to you on other websites and apps after you have visited ours. This is based on your browser rather than your identity. We do not learn who you are from it, and we never combine it with anything you have told us about your case.
You can control this at any time:
- Opt out of personalized Google advertising: https://adssettings.google.com
- Opt out of Google Analytics entirely: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from using this website.
Who We Share Information With
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else’s advertising.
We share information only with the service providers that operate this website and our practice:
- WP Engine hosts this website, including server logs that contain IP addresses.
- Google provides the analytics, tag management, and advertising services described above.
- Microsoft 365 provides our email and calendar. When you book a mediation, the appointment details are copied to the assigned mediator’s Outlook calendar.
We also keep delivery logs for email this website sends. Those logs record the recipient, subject, and delivery status, but not the content of the message.
Beyond these providers, we disclose information only when we are required to by law, court order, or an applicable professional or ethical obligation, or when you have asked us to.
SMS/Text Messaging Privacy
If you provide your mobile phone number and consent to receive text messages from Mid Florida Mediation Group LLC, we may use that number to send conversational and customer-care messages related to your inquiry, scheduling, mediation services, appointments, and other service-related communications.
SMS consent is optional and is not a condition of purchasing or receiving our services.
No mobile information, SMS opt-in information, or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information obtained as part of the SMS consent process will not be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes.
We may use service providers that assist us in delivering text messages and operating our communications systems. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide services on our behalf.
Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP. For assistance, reply HELP or contact us at info@midfloridamediation.com or 386-271-2889.
How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep contact form submissions for as long as we need them to respond to your inquiry and for our business records. You may ask us to delete yours at any time.
Booking and client records are retained in line with our professional and record-keeping obligations.
Event-level analytics data is retained for two months. Security logs are kept on a rolling basis so we can detect attacks.
How We Protect Your Information
This site is served over an encrypted connection. We use security software with a firewall and login protection, we keep the website and its software updated, and we limit access to submitted information to the people who need it.
No website can promise perfect security. We take reasonable precautions, and we will tell you promptly if we become aware of a breach affecting your information.
Your Choices
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@midfloridamediation.com and we will respond within a reasonable time. We may need to keep some information to meet legal or professional obligations, and we will tell you if that applies.
You can also refuse or delete cookies in your browser and use the Google opt-out links above.
This website is intended for people in the United States, and primarily in Florida. If you are somewhere that gives you additional privacy rights, such as California, the European Union, or the United Kingdom, please contact us and we will work with you in good faith.
Children
This website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will note material changes here.
